About Miller Barns…
At Miller Barns, we are a family-owned business with deep roots in hard work, faith, and values that come from our Amish heritage. Our story began in 2005 when, after relocating from Montana to Wyoming for a logging job that ultimately fell through, we needed a solution to provide for our family. With years of experience in farming and a strong work ethic passed down through generations, we turned to something we knew well – building and craftsmanship.
Miller Barns started with a simple vision: to provide high-quality storage sheds, animal shelters, and customizable barns. What began as a family project in our backyard quickly grew as we involved 5 of our homeschooled children, helping with everything from painting sheds to trimming and assembly. Together, we transformed a challenging situation into a thriving business. Today, our company continues to reflect the same dedication and family-first approach that has supported us for the past 20 years.
Alongside our business, we also enjoy life on our farm in Mount Vernon, WA, where we finally settled into our second and forever home. In Montana, we had the opportunity to design and build our first home, and now we’re living our dream on a beautiful piece of land with plenty of space for our cows, pigs, ducks, chickens, seven dogs, and barnyard cats. Every summer, we harvest hundreds of bales of hay and have the privilege of earning a little extra from the farm, which is something I love doing most.
Our family’s foundation is built on love, hard work, and faith. After 47 years of marriage, my wife and I are proud to be grandparents to 22 grandchildren. We get together as often as we can with our whole family, which includes our 11 children, 7 in-laws, and 22 grandchildren, and we are grateful that Miller Barns has allowed us to create lasting memories with all of them. As our family and our farm continue to grow, our commitment to quality, customer service, and family remains unwavering.

You provide not only excellent service in terms of designing what I wanted but also the high quality of workmanship.
